DAYLINE RANKED FITNESS — PRIVACY POLICY
Effective October 20, 2026

Dayline records fitness progress and calculates a competitive MMR rank. This policy covers the iPhone app, its optional leaderboard and optional rewarded ads.
Fitness And Apple Health
With your permission, Dayline reads step counts and body weight from Apple Health. Withings and other sources may supply these readings through Apple Health. Dayline does not write to Apple Health. Dayline does not offer manual step or weight entry. Readings marked manually entered in Apple Health are excluded. The app accepts Health data across device brands; some source apps may omit the manual-entry flag, so imports are not proof of a device measurement. Older manual records may remain locally for compatibility but are excluded from scoring. Daily records, check-ins, weight-source details and calculated progress are stored on your device. You can revoke Health access in iPhone Settings. Dayline does not use Health data for advertising, marketing or ad targeting and does not send steps, weight or Health source details to Google.
Optional Account And Leaderboard
You can use local fitness tracking without signing in. Sign in with Apple is handled through Apple and Supabase. Supabase processes your Apple account identifier, authentication/session information and any email supplied by Apple. When you join the leaderboard, Dayline uploads your chosen handle, account ID, enrolled time zone, tracking start time, daily step counts, weight in pounds and check-in windows to Supabase to calculate MMR. Public leaderboard information includes your handle, rank, position, total MMR and today's MMR change. Individual weights and step counts are not shown publicly. Do not put personal information in your public handle.
Optional Rewarded Ads
After a completed check-in you may choose to watch an ad. A verified completed live ad adds 50 MMR, at most once per check-in and three times daily. Skipping an ad has no penalty. Test ads do not award competitive MMR. Dayline requests nonpersonalized ads and does not request Apple's tracking permission or pass your name, email, leaderboard handle or Health measurements to Google.
Google Mobile Ads and Google's consent SDK may process IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), app/device identifiers, ad interactions, advertising data, crash logs and performance information for ad delivery, measurement, diagnostics and fraud prevention. Nonpersonalized ads still involve data processing. Available privacy choices are shown before requesting ads where required, and an Ad privacy options button appears in Settings when required. Google receives an opaque reward token to verify a completed ad; our server maps it to your account, day and check-in. Supabase stores verified reward receipts and transaction identifiers to prevent duplicate rewards.

Service Providers And Security
Apple provides Health, sign-in and distribution services. Supabase hosts authentication, leaderboard records and reward verification. Google provides ads and consent management. Network services also receive technical connection information such as IP addresses and request logs. Data may be processed outside your country. We use HTTPS, account-based access controls and signed ad verification. No system guarantees absolute security. We do not sell your Health data.
Your Choices And Deletion
In The Climb, Delete account asks you to confirm with Apple, then revokes Dayline’s Apple sign-in authorization and deletes your authentication account, leaderboard profile, uploaded daily records, reward records and local Dayline history. This does not delete records in Apple Health. You can also hide your public profile or remove only your leaderboard profile; signing out alone does not hide your profile, and removing only a profile leaves the sign-in account and local progress. Contact support for help with access, correction or deletion. Provider logs and backup copies may persist according to provider retention and operational requirements. Revoking Health access does not automatically remove previously recorded data. Removing the app removes local app data, subject to device backups; cloud records require separate deletion.
Children And Updates
Dayline is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child supplied personal information. This policy may change as features change; the effective date above identifies the current version. Contact us with privacy questions or concerns.
